After more than 30 years of an active trial practice, I am now engaged solely in a mediation practice. Over my career, I have handled and mediated several types of civil cases, including: product liability, complex torts, construction defect, real estate, business/commercial disputes, professional liability, and insurance matters.

I have been honored to twice serve as Chairman of ALFA International, a global legal network based in Chicago, Illinois.
I am a member of numerous professional organizations, including the Defense Research Institute (DRI), Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel (FDCC), International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC) and Trial Attorneys of America and am now an active member of the Association of Attorney-Mediators and its Texas chapter. I have also been voted by my peers for inclusion as a “Best Lawyer in America” for Commercial Litigation (since 2019) and Product Liability (since 2020) and listed in various years as one of the “Best Lawyers in San Antonio” under the categories of Commercial Litigation, Product Liability defense and Personal Injury defense as published in the Scene in SA magazine. My educational background includes a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin and J.D. with highest honors from St. Mary’s School of Law in San Antonio.
